A human powered generator produces static charges that then activate whimsical forms installed inside the glass jar. When the crank turns the feather sculpture is animated with static electricity causing the parts to twitch and reach out as though they are alive and even intelligent. It becomes possible for the viewer to believe that there is intention and even emotion behind each and every movement even though the rational mind knows every move is simply a reaction to the physical environment.
